Me and a friend popped in a little before typical busy bar hours and had a few great drinks. The bartenders were friendly and inviting and as mentioned before whipped us up a few drinks which were mixed fairly well! The sliders were delicious as well. It was fairly dead, but that's probably because of the time we arrived being by the time we left a good 50 people had come in. The music was good, the atmosphere was good. I'll definitely be back!

Service is way to slow. The beer towers are worth it though And the outdoor seating is nice.

HORRIBLE , HORRIBLE experience! This place use to be Sante Fe and unfortunately it doesn't look like they have renovated a thing only hung a few tv's. The bartender was horrible! He continuously left the bar leaving everyone to wait on him when trying to order food and the bar was basically empty! If you are a bartender absolutely no reason you should be outside talking! The food was definitely not good! The worst of all the bars in College Park! I ordered a frozen margarita they just made up a cold drink and charged me extra. I most definitely will not be returning between the drinks and the serve i don't know what was worse!

It's game day! Go anywhere before terrapin's turf. During our last visit, we sat for 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order. The place was relatively empty, especially for game day... We were soon to find out why. After flagging down our server who told us that she takes food orders but won't mess with the bar... Wait what?! we headed to the bar for drinks. Cheap crappy college drinks (but we expected this). Having worked in the service industry and having survived my fair share of game days, I know pushing liquor is key to walking out with a pocket full of tips. None of this makes sense to us. Still no menus. I sipped my regular vodka soda as we finally went to the bar for menus. We ordered nachos and some kind of avocado wrap from our server who miraculously reappears. We wait, wait some more. Continue to wait in the bar line for additional drinks. Someone who is not our server brings out the food which isn't as ordered. The nachos were OK. Just a tad of nacho cheese over plain corn chips, with a side of salsa... Barely nachos. The avocado wrap was actually surprisingly good... But not enough to save any portion of this visit. I go to the bathroom which is expectedly gross. We finish our food and drinks we go through the expected hassle of having to get the bill and pay. We don't attempt to split the bill. We know better. We leave, never to come back. Skip this place on game day.

Decent nightlife for this area. Drinks are ok. Not the best but also not the worse. Few times I've been it has been crowded, to crowded for my liking. Service is slow but music is good.

Terrapins Turf, or more commonly known as just Turf, is a hop, skip, and jump away from Fraternity Row, this may be only the second bar in College Park I've hit up, but it's already a favorite. There's no cover (that I know of) during the summer, and there's a great atmosphere that's a little bit corner bar, little bit hip club. There's some seating on the patio (but limited to make room for dancing near the DJ booth), and ample space on the inside as well. I personally like to first judge a place by their whiskey sour (among other things), and $3 gets you a solid version of said mixed drink. However, if you're feeling like getting "turnt", I'd recommend The Fishbowl. What is a Fishbowl you may ask? It's pretty much an AMF in a fishbowl (yes, an actual fishbowl which would typically house a beta). I've been told it changes color depending on the bartender, but I'm sure it still gets the job done. All in all, a prime college bar.

This is one of the few places in College Park that offers a decent brunch menu. Ranging from eggs Benedict to pancakes to steak and eggs it's pretty legit. Also for $10 you can get bottomless mimosas when you order an entree. I get the crab cake eggs Benedict literally every week. It is hands down one of the best Eggs Benedict's I have ever eaten. Furthermore if you don't feel like eating brunch they offer the entire menu ranging from wings, to burgers, to salads so there are a lot of options!

I'm so glad its finally open! Best bar in college park. Great bartenders (look for Yasmine), great dancers, good food, the ambiance is exceptional. Lots of TV's for those sports fans out there, and a fun party atmosphere. Highly recommended for all CP students.

Good place for brunch, happy hour, etc. You need Chelsea as your server, she's the best. So attentive and nice, she makes the experience great. My only complaint about Turf is their somewhat misleading prices. For example, the advertise $10 bottomless mimosas but they're actually $15 unless you buy food too.

Food was extremely sub par. We went during happy hour and it was surprisingly empty, however the waitress took her time with absolutely everything. She informed us that all appetizers aside from the mozz sticks were $5 during happy hour, so I ordered the calamari (surprised that would be $5, but I wasn't going to ask any questions). In total, the table had 3 appetizers and a beer tower, however we were there for well over 2 hours. We asked the waitress for the check twice. After the second time, we waited for roughly 15 minutes before she came back out, without the checks, and asked if we would like anything else. We said no, and asked again for the checks. She went back in the restaurant for several more minutes before finally coming out with our checks. When I look at mine, I find the calamari was actually $8. After waiting at least another 15 min, my friend and I decide to go into the restaurant to use the bathroom and inquire about the charge for calamari. She told me she had messed up and calamari was not $5, as she had originally said, but made no attempt to cover for her own mistake. That extra $3 resulted in her getting no tip. Won't go back again.

Been to Terrapin Turf two times and was told they don't serve red wine. How can you call yourself a bar and not serve red wine? Food is also very average. Only reframing factor are the fishbowls..

Oh my god, life in College Park is so much better already. We finally have a bar that at least kind of doesn't look like a sports bar (although there are still way too many televisions everywhere). Don't let this place die like everything else on Baltimore, people.

The best for a place to do some drinking. Came to this realization after having lunch there. The food was fine, but not worth writing too much about. Will continue to go there for drinks, but that is all. The staff was very nice and knew what they were doing.

As good as it gets out of the bars in college park. Place had good music and good people. Cheap drinks unlike D.C. I'd go again

Oh. My. God. The slowest and most incompetent service of my life, which isn't short. One hour to get coffee at Sunday brunch, and we were the third party at the restaurant. No silverware. Mimosa served in a cracked plastic flute that the bartender refused to replace. Mediocre food. The water, which I had to request at the bar, went to another table. Coffee, when we finally got it, was not served with milk or sugar, just sweet-n-low. No spoons or stirrers, ever. Orders done incorrectly, one person's order wasn't served until we asked for it, ten minutes after the rest of us were served, and was only lukewarm because it was obviously sitting somewhere inside. Waitress not only incompetent but invisible. No explanation for the massive delays. Did I mention they were practically empty? So no excuse whatsoever. I don't know if there was a manager, but if so, he or she should be embarrassed. This could be a great place but wow. No words beyond this and " avoid at all costs. "

This place is great. It has an ambience, which is (to put it mildly) a rarity in College Park. I went there on a Monday afternoon and they were playing good music, unlike any other place in town, which was a pleasant surprise. I only wish this bar didn't attempt to be all things to all people. I went there for a casual drink on Sunday evening, and there was blaring sports stuff instead of decent music, which was a downer. I get that it was Sunday, and sports are a Sunday kind of thing to do. But can't people who don't give a shit about sports go anywhere on a Sunday afternoon and have a conversation with good music in the background? I guess not. Anyway, TT is pretty cool. I look forward to checking out live music some night. And I should say that the food is about what you'd expect for CP, and e.g. a lot cheaper than Cornerstone. But I should mention! Very limited vegetarian options, the veggie options seem very much an afterthought.
